Belgium Flobert 22 LR Single Shot Rifle 22LR

This vintage Flobert single shot rifle is chambered for 22 Long Rifle. While there are no markings besides the Belgium proof it is the style produced in the very late 19th into the early 20th century by various makers in Belgium. Usually these arms are not found in condition as good as this one. It retains 75% blue with thinning near the muzzle and scattered patina spotting while the breech block is blended brown and gray patina and the bore grades as good to very good (these arms didn't have very deep rifling to begin with). The breech mechanism works fine and the hammer holds firmly at half and full cock. The stock is sound with light handling marks, heeled steel butt plate and ornate trigger guard.
