Colt Automatic .25 Cal Pistol American Made NOT Junior Astra Cub Spain LNIB

This little beauty is not what most mistake it for: a copy of the Cub made by Astra in Spain and branded for Colt as the Junior. When the 1968 Gun Control Act outlawed the importation of the Junior, Colt contracted with Firearms International of Florida to make this clone of the Junior right here in America. Colt simply called it Colt Automatic .25 CAL. and introduced it in 1971 (it was discontinued in 1973). Serial numbers have an "OD" prefix and the slides are marked "Colt Automatic." The Automatic .25 CAL. serial numbers began at OD1001 and ended at OD120471 with this one falling about midway at 56891. It is in like new condition retaining 99% original finish while the bore is perfect, the slide stop retains 99% niter blue, the hammer and trigger sides are bright nickel as is the magazine and the floor plate is marked “CAL .25 / COLT”. It comes in its original box with instructions printed within, a piece of rust inhibiting paper (VPI), complete warranty card (not filled out) and even the brown tissue wrapper. The box is perfectly sound with only slight edge wear. An opportunity to own one of the more scarce diminutive 25 ACP’s from Colt complete with all packaging and in like new condition.
