Czech VZ-52 Military Pistol 7.62X25 CZ52 Excellent

Brought into service in 1952, the correct name for these impressive pistols is Ceskoslovenska Zborjovka Vzor 52 or Vz52 but in America they have become known as the CZ52. It’s chambered for the 7.62x25 which is dimensionally the same as the 7.62 Tokarev that the Russians chambered in their TT33. The Czech ammo however, was loaded “hotter” than the Russian rounds due to the roller locking system of the CZ52 being much stronger than the TT33. It is single action only, the thumb safety allows the slide to be operated while on so loading and un-loading can be done safely and if the safety is pushed past the safe position it will act as a de-cocker. A superbly designed and made pistol. This example is in excellent condition retaining 99% phosphate finish with some slight edge thinning while the bore is mostly like a mirror with strong, sharp rifling and just a touch of slight partial frosting in the corners of some grooves and grades at Excellent. The grips are in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. The barrel, slide and frame serial numbers match and the military acceptance mark is dated 1953. It comes with two magazines and 16 page manual. Aftermarket items are available such as: conversion kits for 9mm luger and Largo, extended and compact slide releases, walnut and exotic wood grips and extended (finger rest) magazine floor plates.
