Smith & Wesson K32 Hand Ejector 32 S&W Long 1955 Pre Model 16 – Excellent! K-32

This S&W K32 Hand Ejector was made in 1955 (SN K256393) and according to Supica and Nahas is a kind of scarce Smith. This one is from the estate of a highly respected New England gunsmith who specialized in target pistols. His accuracy job on it include a lightened hammer, rounded and polished trigger edges, trigger stop, and we’re sure other things that aren’t obvious to us. What is obvious is that the very light trigger pull breaks like glass seemingly without moving. It features a 6” barrel, gold bead front sight, fully adjustable rear sight, five screw frame and checkered walnut grips with silver medallions. It retains about 85% original blue with holster wear, edge thinning and loss on the ejector rod while the bore is perfect with strong, sharp rifling and the grips are completely sound with only a couple of handling marks and a tiny chip at the right heel. All serial numbers match (frame, cylinder, ejector, barrel and right grip panel). The action works perfectly and lock-up is tight with only very slight lateral movement and no end play. An interesting pistol used for pistol matches by a top-flight pistol smith and competitor.
