Smith & Wesson 1st Model Safety Hammerless 32 S&W

This is one of the early (SN 5303) first model Safety Hammerless revolvers that continued to keep the company at the leading edge of technology in firearms and assure its significant presence in the market. It features a 3-1/2 ribbed barrel with pinned front sight, canter opening latch, double action, nickel plate, grip safety, blued guard bow and checkered hard rubber grips with S&W monogram. It retains about 80% nickel while the bore is 95% bright, mirror smooth and shiny with strong, sharp rifling and 5% thinly scattered light pitting and the grips are completely sound with no cracks or chips. The action works perfectly, frame lock-up is as tight as a bank vault and cylinder lock-up is as tight as you ever find them in these pistols. The yellowish-brown material you see in some areas is long-ago dried up preservative. An early lemon squeezer for your collection because you need it.
