Colt Bisley 32 WCF 32/20 Made 1907 Matching SAA

This Colt Bisley was made in 1907 (SN 294463) and has all matching serial numbers (butt, guard & frame) while the loading gate has an assembly number of 4652. It features a 7-1/2 barrel. low spur hammer with bordered checkering, cross bolt base pin release and checkered hard rubber grips with rampant colt panels. It retains about 10% blue, a few faint vestiges of case color and some patches of light pitting while the bore is about 70% smooth with good, strong rifling and 30% scattered patches of moderate pitting and the grips are completely sound with no cracks or chips and nice, clear rampant colt panels (the mane hair is still sharp). The main spring is strong and the hammer is solid at half and full cock while timing and lock-up are excellent with only sight lateral and end play. A really nice old sharp-shooter made in the same year that the Short Magazine Lee-Enfield Mk III rifle was officially introduced into British Military Service and Teddy Roosevelt shook a record 8,513 hands in one day. There you have it. A very nice kit gun with a beautiful pair of scarce grips. If you have questions please email us at This will be listed for auction on Gun Broker the evening of July 1st.
