Ruger Stainless Old Army 44 Black Powder - 1982

This Ruger stainless steel Old Army 44 caliber cap and ball revolver was made in 1982 (SN 145-35455) and features a 7-1/2” barrel, fully adjustable sights, safety notch cylinder and walnut grips. There’s very little doubt that this pistol is the best designed and most practical cap and ball revolver ever offered and it’s especially well known for outstanding accuracy. This example is in almost new condition with very little evidence of having been fired and it comes with a like new Hunter leather holster that fits it perfectly. The satin finish comes in at about 98% with a few light scratches and mars here and there while the bore and chambers are perfect and the grips have only a handful of light handling marks. From a survivalist view; this is the last kind of pistol they’ll try to confiscate and a clever person can make everything he needs for firing it. A great cap and ball pistol in condition that’s hard to top. If you have questions please email us at This will be listed for auction on Gun Broker the evening of April 8th.
