Winchester Model 12 Pump Shotgun 12 Ga 28 Mod Beautifully Executed Top-Flight Restoration Like New

The Model 12 was the first successful internal hammer slide action shotgun and was based in part on the John M. Browning 1897 design. Beautifully made from machined forgings and known for its durability, reliability, elegant lines and superb handling characteristics, its no wonder it had a production run of over a half century finally being discontinued only because of its cost to manufacture. This example was made in 1948 (SN 1153168) and features a 28 barrel with 2-3/4 chamber and Mod choke, take-down, cross bolt safety and checkered walnut stocks. It is the best complete restoration of a model 12 weve ever see, truly top notch! It can easily be mistaken for new. It retains 99% blue while the bore is perfect as are the stocks. The polish lines and bluing style is Winchester all the way and the stocks are probably original Winchester replacements with correct steel grip cap and round logo composite butt plate. Serial numbers match and all markings are correct for the serial number. A really striking shotgun whose design and handling is still among the very best in the world and it looks it!
