Japanese Type 38 Arisaka 6.5X50 Rifle WWII W/ Mum

This is one Koishikawa Arsenal (Tokyo) made rifles that fought doggedly during WWII for the brutal establishment of the greater East Asia Co Prosperity Sphere as envisioned by Imperial Japan. It features a 31 barrel with sights graduated to a wildly ambitious 2400 meters, dual gas vents in the receiver ring, sliding bolt cover, striker safety, five round internal charger fed magazine and two piece butt stock. It is mostly dark brown patina with scattered pitting and some gray highlights while the bore is a sewer (which is one of the precise grades of the Intergalactic Bore Grading Standards) and the stock is completely sound with the accumulated insults acquired while losing a protracted and brutal war in the worst possible conditions. The bolt and bolt parts are a mix of numbers not matching the receiver. The mum is very faint from carry wear but has not been ground or filed. The leather sling is correct and probably an excellent repro. An old participant in the most brutal rampage across Asia in history during which Japan inflicted seven times more total casualties than it sustained (including the bombings).
