Ithaca M 37 Take-Down 20 Ga Pump Shotgun Made 1959

The Ithaca Model 37 Pump shotgun is one of the finest slide actions ever designed as evidenced by the fact than nearly 4 million have been sold. Its bottom ejection keeps dirt and rain out of the action and is very friendly to left handed shooters. The receiver is machined out of a solid billet of steel and the unique solderless barrel stud are just two of the items that contribute to such a strong, reliable and durable shotgun. With classic, elegant lines it possesses superb handling characteristics as well. This model 37 Featherlight was made in 1959 (SN 731303) and features a steel receiver, nicely figured walnut stocks, 14 LOP, grooved forearm, take down, cross bolt safety, 26 barrel with 2-3/4 chamber and IC choke (fixed). It retains about 98% original blue with some scattered small rust spotting mostly on the left side of the receiver and a little action thinning on the action bar and magazine tube while the bore is a perfect mirror and the stocks are completely sound with scattered handling marks and scratches. All indications are that this gun has been used very, very little. A great gun in great condition.
