Winchester 94 Lone Star Commemorative 30-30 SRC

With well less than 39,000 of these beautiful rifles made it’s no wonder that they have appreciated fivefold since being made in 1970. A real classic with 26” half-round half-octagon barrel, half magazine, gold plated receiver, forend cap, magazine plug, lever, stock medallion and butt plate which contrast nicely with the deeply blued components and the satin finished walnut stocks. The receiver is tastefully engraved and lettering on the barrel is gold filled. The grip cap spells out TEXAS in a gold oval surrounded by blued steel – very handsome. We would say it was in new condition but for the very slightest signs of having been shot and some safe queen marks on the left butt and toe and a few pressure marks on the forend, again mostly on the left side while the bore looks like new (we used a Hawkeye bore scope) and finish comes in at about 99% for the gold and 98% for the blue with a small cluster of tiny rust spots on the top of the barrel. The barrel contour moves the CG to right between the shooter’s hands making its handling as impressive as its looks.
