Winchester 1886 Lightweight Rifle 33 WCF 1930

This Winchester 1886 Lightweight rifle was made in 1930 (SN 159603 A) and features a 24 barrel, Lyman ivory No 4 Hunting front sight and Winchester 24B with 1C elevator (both factory correct for the 24 33 caliber 1886), half magazine, case colored lever, straight stock and round Winchester logo peaked composite butt plate. It retains about 90% original blue with almost all the loss at the carry point on the bottom of the receiver while the lever retains about 65% case color and the bore is smooth and shiny with strong, sharp rifling. The stocks have not been refinished, have scattered light to moderate handling marks and a thin chip to the right of the upper tang, a small chip on the same side at the lower front and a stable crack at the wrist also to the right of the tang. The butt plate is completely sound with a few small dings and, for some reason, the lower screw is absent. A really nice example of a fine rifle that needs a little helping hand from a good friend could that be you?
