Winchester 62A Pump 22 Rifle Made 1958 98-99%

Certainly one of the most beloved 22 pump rifles ever made, the Winchester model 62A was introduced in 1933 and produced until 1960 with over 175 thousand being manufactured and it is still being copied to this very day. And with good reason; itís reliable, accurate, durable and fun to shoot. It will handle 22 Short, Long and Long Rifle ammunition. With a 23Ē barrel, adjustable sights, walnut stocks and thumbscrew take-down allowing compact stowage. This example was made in 1958 (SN 402592), retains more than 98% original blue, has a perfect bore, and the stocks are completely sound with no handling marks. It would be listed as being like new except for the thinning on the action bar and slight action thinning on either side of the bolt at the top of the receiver. The metal finish is truly beautiful and unmistakably original Winchester finish. Please excuse the reflections in the photos of the receiver but because of its mirror finish it was hard to photograph without reflections. The wood seems to have had a finish applied to it during which some extended over the adjacent metal here and there. An accurate, handsome, great handling rifle thatís a pleasure to shoot.
