US M1 Carbine Quality Hardware Rock-Ola IBM 1943

This Quality Hardware M1 Carbine is a typical example of post war rearsonalazation having components from different manufactures. The QHMC receiver with the IBM barrel is actually a correct pairing as IBM was one of the suppliers of barrels to QHMC. The trigger group is a stamped Rock-Ola with a LTR marked hammer, IO with a sideways 3 on the round bolt, PI marked slide, IO marked handguard, RIA marked front sight, AMCO band and IO in the sling cut of the pot-belly M2 stock. The rear sight is unmarked and may be a commercial replacement. It retains about 90% metal finish on the exposed areas with most of the loss on the top of the bolt while covered areas retain about 60% metal finish with scattered rust spotting and in some areas, very light pitting with most of the loss on the covered area of the barrel in front of the gas cylinder. Some internal parts have some rust and slight pitting but not on any critical surfaces. The bore is perfect with strong, sharp rifling and the stocks are completely sound with thinly scattered light handling marks and an area on the left side of the grip with several deep dents. A nice carbine with some scarce components. If you have questions please email us at This will be listed for Gun Broker the evening of August 6th.
