Marlin 336 R.C. RC Carbine 1968 35 Remington

The Marlin model 336 carbine has always been superior to its Winchester counterpart due to the much stronger, enclosed receiver and side ejection. This one was made in 1968 which was long before “management” as defined by academia and human resources, corrupted quality to the point of putting the company out of business (well, they did everything “right” according to their professors). It features a 20” barrel with ramped front sight, adjustable folding rear sight, steel receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounting as well as receiver sight, matte finished sight plane, gold trigger and walnut stocks with grip cap, white line spacers and fluted comb. It is in excellent condition retaining 85% original blue with a patch of rust on the band and scattered rust spotting most of which is on the bottom surfaces of the finger loop while the Micro-Groove bore is perfect and the stocks are completely sound with scattered light to moderate handling marks. All internal indications are that it has been fired very little. A great, very handy, reliable, durable and accurate carbine that is chambered for the cartridge that gives you an edge over smaller bores in heavy cover and aside from some cosmetic issues is in terrific condition.
