Beretta 409 424 425 426 16 Ga SXS Not Silver Hawk

We were not able to identify this older Beretta model so we used a bunch of model numbers from around the era this one was made in (1954) in the title of our listing. It features a 27-3/4” with IC and MOD chokes (fixed) and 2-3/4” chambers, lock-up is accomplished by double under lugs and a bolt that moves out of the standing breech and into the base of the rib between the barrels, push button forend release, diamond pattern checkered walnut stocks with steel grip cap, sling swivels, matte silver finished frame with border engraving and extractor. Drops are 2-1/8” & 1-1/2” and pulls are 14-1/4” & 13-3/8” and weight comes in at 6 pounds, 1 ounce. It retains about 92% original blue with some thinning at 9 and 3 o’clock at muzzles and breech ends and on the forend iron at the carry point as well as some scattered small rust spotting while the bores are perfect and the stocks are completely sound with scattered light to moderate handling marks and about 80% finish remaining. Lock-up is as tight as the proverbial vault and 100% on-face and everything seems to function as it should. A light, fast handling gun chambered for the great 16 gauge and combining the best of European and American tastes.
