Smith & Wesson 19-5 Revolver 357 Mag 2-1/2” Nickel

The S&W M19 was made on a more robust version of the fabulous K frame making it, in the opinion of many, the best combat wheelgun chambered for the remarkably effective 357 Magnum cartridge. It was perhaps the most used revolver by law enforcement in history and was aptly named the Combat Magnum. This example is probably the best of all the configurations offered by Smith. To wit: 2-1/2” ribbed & shrouded barrel, red ramp quick draw front sight, fully adjustable white outline rear sight, matted and grooved sight plane, nickel finish, wide checkered hammer spur (0.378”), wide smooth trigger, case colored hammer and trigger and checkered walnut grips with silver medallions. It was made in 1982 (SN 225K775), the serial number on the frame is stamped inside the right grip panel and the frame and crane assembly numbers match. It retains a strong 98% finish with some slight dulling on the frame around the trigger while the bore is perfect and the grips are completely sound with no flatted points and only a handful of handling marks. Lock-up is completely tight with zero lateral play (like a Colt) and there’s some powder staining on the face of the cylinder (it will clean). A really high condition Combat Magnum with all the best options and a look that conveys your intent.
